4.5 Stars

Jobe is the fourth installment of the Alvarez Security Series. A bunch of hotness in this series.

Jobe experiences something devastating while in the Special Forces that resulted in him making rash decisions in an attempt to control his out-of-control emotions. He let her go.

Mackenna's heart was broken by Jobe and other factors in her life but she has attempted to persevere and move on with her life, even if she is a little broken. She is running a woman's shelter and working for social services.

Circumstances lead them to see each other for the first time in over four years after their break up.

As with the other books in this series there is mystery and drama. The hotties abound and the dedication to their woman is heartwarming. The sex scenes are hot and beautifully written. There is lots of suspense to keep you on the edge of the page. Another great story from Maryann Jordan.
